Augsburg Theatre Department Stages Crimes of the Heart
Crimes of the Heart, written by Beth Henley and directed by Darcey Engen, opens Friday, April 24, at 7 p.m. and runs through Sunday, May 3. Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. at Tjornhom-Nelson Theater, Foss Center, 22nd and Riverside Avenues, Minneapolis. $6/4 for ACTC students, faculty, and staff. Crimes of the Heart, an intimate comedy, takes place in a spacious yet cluttered kitchen in a small southern town. Step back into one family's past while examining three sisters' lives as each relates to her life in this small southern town while relating to modern lifestyles and dilemmas. Through the clang of utensils and the bang of kitchen drawers and cupboards, learn about the secret lives of these women.
