On Thursday, Oct. 23, The Campus Kitchen at Augsburg College will open. Campus Kitchen at Augsburg is a new service program dedicated to recycling food and delivering nourishing meals to the Minneapolis community.
The day begins
with Campus Kitchen supervisor Abby Flottemesch presenting a reflection
at chapel. At 2 p.m. DC Kitchen founder Robert Egger, along with Campus
Kithen partners will officially kick off the program with a welcome presentation
          in Christensen lobby.
Then at 2:30 p.m. join President and Mrs. Frame in the kitchen with student volunteers and a local Somalian cook. The group will prepare traditional
Somalian dishes for Campus Kithchen delivery. At
3:30 p.m. there will be a tasting reception and student volunteers will
set off on their first official meal delivery to the Coyle Center's youth
          program in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.
