Panel discussion on Hmong resettlement April 6
The
Augsburg College Asian Student Association and Pan-Asia Student Services
will sponsor a panel discussion on “Hmong Resettlement: Life in
the United States” on April 6, starting at 6 p.m. in the East Commons
of the Christensen Center, Augsburg College.
The Twin Cities is home to the largest urban Hmong population in the United States. In 2004, more than 1.500 Hmong refugees immigrated to Minnesota. The panel discussion will feature speakers from the Public Health, Education and Social Work departments.
