Carol Jenkins to deliver Koryne Horbal Lecture
Emmy Award-winning journalist and entrepreneur Carol Jenkins will deliver the Anne Pederson Women’s Resource Center’s Koryne Horbal Lecture on Nov. 16 at noon in the East Commons of the Christensen Center. Her presentation is titled “Women and Children First - the Media’s Role in Rescuing the Endangered.”
Jenkins, who was the evening news anchor at WNBC-TV in Manhattan, is known as one of the most trusted and credible television personalities in America. She is currently the board chair of Greenstone Media, the new FM talk network for women and by women. She is also the co-author of “Black Titan: A.G. Gaston and the Making of a Black American Millionaire.” Jenkins also owns a production company specializing in television films and documentaries. A graduate of New York University, she holds an honorary doctorate from the College of New Rochelle.
