Psychology major recognized for outstanding research

Augsburg College junior and psychology major Shannon Ryan was honored for her research accomplishments in Washington, D.C. on April 25. Ryan was selected in a national competition sponsored by the Council on Undergraduate Research. Joining students from across the nation, she presented the results from her laboratory study "Sequential Police Lineups: A Test of Revised Procedure."
As part of her Washington tour, Shannon visited
Congress representatives Betty McCollum and Martin Sabo. Her research
is supervised by Dr. Nancy Steblay of the psychology department, and is
supported by the National Institute of Justice, and Augsburg's Office
for Undergraduate Research and Graduate Opportunity.
Ryan is extending her research experience this summer as an intern in the University of Minneota's McNair Summer Research Program.
