Augsburg works at filling local food shelf
Through a grant from the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches’ Minnesota FoodShare Program, food and money donated to food shelves during March will be multiplied.
This includes the Augsburg College neighborhood Brian Coyle Center Food Shelf, which the campus community has committed to filling several times throughout this academic year.
Drop off your donations in the food bins in Christensen Center. Items particularly needed include pasta, rice, white flour, and sugar in 1 lb. bags, vegetable oil, any canned tomato products, including pasta sauce (no meat), and canned tuna.
March is the only time of year to leverage additional dollars for food shelves from your donation. The more Brian Coyle raises during the March Campaign, the larger their share of the Minnesota FoodShare Incentive Allocation.
